“Gallery of words”

The literary sequence “Gallery of Words” is a joint project of the National Library “St.Cyril and St. Methodius” and the “Publishing Studio Ab”.It all started in 2016 with the idea to promote talented people in the field of literature, music and performing arts who have achieved notoriety and have proved their creative qualities.

The sequence will also present Bulgarian authors living abroad as well as some foreigners, specialist in Bulgarian studies, contributing to the promotion of Bulgarian culture abroad.

The aim is to initiate a dialogue between the authors and the audience, and discuss broader themes and ideas in the field of arts and culture.

The event will take place twice a month at the National Library and will include music performance that will complete the speech and capturethe attention of the audience. The National Library may visit other libraries in the major cities of the country with this project wherever possible.

The names of the visiting authors will be announced in advance in the Cultural Calendar of the National Library.
